... a week none of us are likely to forget in a hurry. My thoughts are with everyone affected by Tuesday's quake in ChCh - I feel fortunate that all my family and friends are safe. Unsure of the damage to their homes as they have all left the area for the moment.
I have this feeling of guilt that we have continued our week in a almost normal routine, but somehow it has all changed. I hug the kids just a little tighter and tell them how proud I am of them and how much I love them. I have spent more time with and communicating with family and friends. This type of disaster has definitely been another reminder of just how precious life is, and how grateful I am to have those around me that care and love me.
Last but not least ... this weeks edition of Snapshot Sunday ...
The big man Buck and the Webb Ellis Trophy that will hopefully have NZ engraved on it at the end of this years Rugby World Cup ...
The next sequence of photos are from this morning when Finn competed in his first Weetbix Tryathlon ...
Finn in the yellow goggles ... he did so well with the swimming given he isn't yet a super strong swimmer and the pool was quite deep (over his head) for most of the length ...
A speedy cyclist ... 'Mum I lost count of how many people I passed' ...

Go Finnnnnnnn, awesome job dude. You are a star!!! Love that he overcame his nerves to complete the race in style. The kids look pretty happy standing next to Buck and the Web Ellis Cup.
Mich, I get the guilt thing. I was saying to friends, I feel guilty because I can switch off the TV and carry on with life. I can have a shower, flush the toilet and have power. However I read this today and it gave me some perspective.
