Snapshot Sunday ...

... is here again, boy that week went quick!

Unfortunately it is a pictureless post - I went away for the weekend and forgot my camera - I know very sad! :(

Spent a couple of nights in Ashburton at the National Convention for my hubby's community group - Round Table. Was a fantastic weekend with a few very funny people which culminated with a dinner last night which had the theme '1960's Rock'n Roll'. So dressed in a paisley minidress and knee high lime boots I partied the night away with about 8 Elvis's, Austin Powers and a big group that looked like they had walked straight out of the 60's show 'Happy Days'! Our Mosgiel contingent won the best dressed section of the evening - wahoo!

Someone did get photos and I will be trying to get copies this week if I can - esp of me with all the Elvis's!

Hope you all had a fun weekend, but must say I am looking forward to an early night ;)

Snapshot Sunday ...

... is here again. Sorry no scrap layouts, haven't had much time to unpack my scrap gear since getting home from Camp last Sunday ... maybe next week! Although did spend a little time yesterday playing with a new Tim Holtz die that I bought last weekend, my first one (well second coz I bought another one too - LOL!). I have the rosette die - to make those cool flowers. Have a couple made now waiting on a layout/card to pop them on.

So on to 'Snapshot Sunday' ... at the moment life in this house seems to revolve around sport, especially this weekend ... hence the shots of this week ...

Monday night ... miniball ... Finn's first season, and think he'll have a bit of an advantage in years to come with his height as he continues to sprout upwards (comes from having a Dad that is over 6 foot tall!) ...

Saturday morning ... Emma's first season of ministicks (she's blue #5) ... bit of a bummer as means I miss Finn's football matches as it's on at the same time 20 minutes away in Dunedin ...

And today ... a 7 a side football tournament for Finn - 4 twenty minute games in 3 hours ...

After all that sport and spending a couple of hours in the garden tidying it up for winter ... it's time to now put the feet up and relax!

mmmmmmm ... oven beeping ... my apple sponge pudding is ready ... see you next week!

Opps ...

... got a bit sidetracked and missed my usual Snapsot Sunday.

Well I suppose I had a good excuse, 4 days and 3 nights at Scrap Camp - a lot of laughter, scrapping, great company, a bit of wine, more giggles and a bit of shopping .... it was bliss!

I am slowly recovering and with a busy week at work I will resume my normal 'Snapshot Sunday' this coming weekend.

I hope everyone is snuggled up warm with this icy blast heading up the country ... am glad the snow waited until the night after camp finished. Was amazing seeing the white hills round the plains in Monday morning ... bbbbrrrrrr!

So til Sunday ... ;)

Snapshot Sunday ...

... a hectic week has past, and another is in store. Kids back at school, bugs and sick days, deadlines at work, sports after school ... just the usual in this house really! But the reward for getting through this week will be 3 days of scrapping starting Thursday night with friends at the Dunners Scrap Camp ... bring it on!

... so before I zoom away to get some gear organised, here is my Snapshot for this Sunday ...

... revisited my uni student days, with lunch on Saturday with Marty and kids at Poppa's Pizza in the heart of the Otago Uni area of town .... aaahhhhh those were the days ;)

Have a great week!
